Freya Allan plays a young human forced to choose between betraying her people or siding with the apes to avoid annihilation. Andy Serkis lends his voice to Caesar’s legacy in flashbacks and visions, keeping his spirit alive. Visually breathtaking, the film expands the world: ruined cities overtaken by forests, rivers flowing through skyscrapers, and sprawling ape fortresses carved from mountains.

Battle sequences are larger but remain intimate, with duels reflecting deep ideological divides. The climax forces Noa into war, despite knowing it betrays Caesar’s ideals.
