Hobbs & Shaw 2 (2026)

Get ready for the ultimate tag-team thrill ride as DSS powerhouse Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and ex-MI6 maverick Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) are thrown back together to face their deadliest challenge yet. A shadowy cyber-terrorist syndicate led by the genius mastermind “Nyx” (Henry Cavill) threatens to hijack every defense network on the planet with a rogue AI weapon of unprecedented power.

When Shaw’s sister Hattie (Vanessa Kirby) vanishes deep inside Nyx’s clandestine Eastern European stronghold, old rivalries must be set aside. From heart-stopping street pursuits through Berlin’s neon streets to explosive rooftop battles in Tokyo, the duo races against time—and each other—to rescue family and stop global annihilation.

Along the way, they team up with Hobbs’ fierce Samoan kin and a cryptic hacker whose loyalties blur the line between friend and foe. With betrayal lurking at every turn, Hobbs and Shaw will need every ounce of muscle, wit, and unbreakable brotherhood to take down a villain even more lethal than Brixton.

The antagonist this time is a ruthless former military leader, Magnus Grayson (played by a surprise new A-list actor), who has gone rogue and formed a highly dangerous tech-terrorist organization called “The Syndicate.” His ultimate goal is to destabilize governments across the world by hacking into the most secure defense systems and weaponizing artificial intelligence. Grayson has developed a nanotech-based weapon that can destroy entire cities with precise, targeted explosions.

The team is once again brought together by the covert operations leader, Locke (Ryan Reynolds in a more expanded role this time), who warns them about the Syndicate’s imminent attack. Hattie, who has continued her work in MI6, also joins the mission, adding an extra layer of sibling tension with Deckard. She plays a pivotal role in hacking into Syndicate’s mainframe to stop their AI system.

The film takes the team across various countries, from a high-speed chase in the streets of Tokyo to a daring infiltration in the mountains of Switzerland. One of the standout action sequences happens during a massive sky-diving battle between Hobbs, Shaw, and Grayson’s elite team of mercenaries. The final showdown takes place in an underground facility where Hobbs and Shaw face off against Grayson. With time running out, they must not only defeat him but also deactivate the nanotech weapon that’s set to detonate in major cities simultaneously.

In typical Fast & Furious fashion, the film ends on a cliffhanger, with the reveal that Grayson was only a puppet, working for an even more dangerous shadow organization, hinting at a larger conspiracy for future installments.
