Steve Carell continues to shine as Gru, playing the character with the right balance of bumbling villainy and fatherly love. His comedic timing is impeccable, making Gru’s mix of villainy and fatherhood a delightful combination.
The Minions, as expected, are as mischievous and hilarious as ever, offering their signature slapstick humor thatβs sure to entertain kids and adults alike. Pierre Coffinβs return as the voice of the Minions keeps their antics fresh and fun, with even more zany, action-packed moments.
The addition of Taraji P. Henson to the cast adds a fun twist, as her character, a new villain, brings her own brand of flair and attitude to the storyline. Meanwhile, the growth of Gruβs family, especially his daughters, adds a deeper emotional layer to the film. The dynamic between Gru and his daughters brings a lot of heart to the story, particularly with the youngest, Agnes, whoβs as adorable as ever.
The animation is as vibrant and energetic as the previous films, with colorful visuals and action scenes that are sure to captivate the audience. The soundtrack, filled with lively tunes, complements the high-energy action and comedic moments, keeping the film light-hearted and entertaining.
While Despicable Me 4 doesn’t introduce many groundbreaking ideas, it still delivers what fans of the series expect β laughter, warmth, and unforgettable moments.
