Following the harrowing events of The Exorcist: Believer, the young girl once freed from the clutches of a demonic entity begins to experience unsettling visions and violent blackouts. Her mother, still scarred from the ordeal, fears the evil has returned — but this time, it feels older, darker, and far more cunning.

When a series of ritualistic murders occur in their town, the symbols found at each crime scene match those drawn by the girl in her sleep. Realizing this is no coincidence, the mother seeks help from Father Bennett (Leslie Odom Jr.), now a seasoned exorcist who has faced down multiple possessions across the globe. But Bennett warns that this is no ordinary case — the demon at work is part of a greater legion, one that has been preparing for decades to fully break into the mortal world.
